“What I love: This is by far the highest quality belt I own and I know it will last me a long time. Initially I was wary about how wide it would be, but I honestly can't go back to wearing a thinner belt at this point. Also, the leather is very flexible and flaccid and had zero break in which I love about Popov's use of Horween leather. This thing just feels like a beast to wear and I love the contrast with the edges. It makes the belt "pop" more.
What I don't love: The price tag is pretty steep. I bought this on a discount closer to $50 and that feels like a fairer price. I wish the edges were burnished to be smoother than they are, and I have noticed with constant (day-to-day, not from working) wear where the black has dulled out in some areas (belt holes, from some miscellaneous scratches). Nothing major unless you really look.
Conclusion: This is a high quality belt that I wish was a bit cheaper. I'm not a huge fan of patina/scratches on black, but I think this is largely unnoticed or would be an easy DIY fix. I plan on buying one in English Tan where I think the patina/scratches will blend and look better.”
