“As I’ve grown more into adulthood and fatherhood I’ve grown and have had to accept dressing more formal to be more respectable. Little that I know that one of the things that would further encourage this milestone and this tale of me coming of age is my teething son using my black belt as a chew toy. The chew marks are too deep to buff out and too random to say is artisan decoration. (On the plus side, at least my son’s teeth are straight — artisan dentistry?)
I’ve been a fan of Popov leather products for years and own several products (including a well worn wallet that is my favorite wallet ever) and spoken this shop’s praises to everyone I know. This is why when the need for a new belt came up and some Christmas money came in I thought of Popov. I’ve liked the way their belts looked and knew it would be a good fit for me (no pun intended). The belt is wonderfully sized where I could get a rare odd size and leather made this belt very comfortable and stylish to wear. My wife likes the way it looks and as long as I keep my son away from it (he already eyes it whenever it comes out) I know it’ll last me years like my well loved wallet and other items from Popov leather.”
“This belt is great, beautiful smelling leather that is flexible and comfortable right away. I will definitely be buying another in the future. Great customer service as well !!”
“The overall impression is perhaps satisfaction, the leather quality is good, packaging and the way they treat their customers in popov was good too.
My only wish is if they would use a heavier or thicker leather for the belts which is a personal desire and the reason behind it is that i sweet a lot due to my working environment the back side of my belt gets wet and soft under the middle pole of my pants, after a month of use i can see some wrinkles in the same area.”
“Great belt and great customer service. This belt works very well in casual and work settings ... the rough, unfinished edges of the leather look great there. Not really a "dress" belt for wearing with suits &c, but it is what it is, and it's great.”
