Nice belt. Great quality and the first belt that the recommended sizing is correct.

I am very happy with the belt. It fits great and the fitting was perfect. The sizing gives me a little extra overhang and the end of the belt.

If you’re tired of looking around for full grain quality leather products look no further. Both are very high quality. The simplicity of the design is nicely balanced with the beautiful quality. The care and attention to the product is obvious. It’s great to wear, and looks as good as you’d expect. Go for it!

It's a bit early to be reviewing a belt I've only had for 2 days but here it goes.... It's a belt. It's pretty good. I've worn it once. It fits like they said it would. I measured my old belt and matched this one to it. It was good. But here's the thing..... $124. I bought it on sale for $75, but regular price is $124. It's a decent $75 belt. It's not a good value $124 belt. I also have a Hanks belt; their heavy duty Enforcer model with a 100 year warranty. It costs $85US which is about $113CDN today. So it's about $10 cheaper than the Popov and is also handmade in North America etc. I bought my Hanks belt a year and a half ago and have worn it nearly every day since. Not a word of exaggeration, it's been on my waist at least 400 times. I've worn the Popov once for about 5 hours. Take a look at the attached photo. The top is the Popov. The bottom is the Hanks. The Hanks shows less wear in a year and a half than the Popov does after a day. And if you're wondering about stretch, because the Hanks shows wear on 2 different holes, I managed to lose about 20lbs over the last year. Best I can tell, the belt hasn't stretched at all. It's too early to tell if the Popov will stretch out. One more thing; I ordered the belt on June 10. Today is June 17. In 7 days I've received 15 emails in my inbox from Popov. I can appreciate good communication but this amounts to spamming my inbox. We received your order. We have shipped your order, here's your tracking number. Our shipper has confirmed your order has been delivered. That's 3 emails I would expect and appreciate. The rest? So when the 16th email showed up asking me to review their belt after having it for barely 24 hours, I was happy to oblige. Here's their review: At $124 it's expensive for what you get. On sale for 40% off I don't feel ripped off but I don't feel I got exceptional value either. I appreciate that locally made stuff comes at a premium and I don't mind paying that. Maybe don't ship it to me with a big soft glossy heavy card telling me what leather is, another glossy business card telling me where it came from, and a fancy cloth drawstring bag to ship the belt in; all of which are destined for a landfill. As we strive to be less impactful on the environment, it's such a waste and I feel like I paid extra for it. In the end, it's a belt. Probably worth the $75 I paid for it. It's not worth the regular price, in my opinion, and the Hanks belt is a far superior product for less. I felt like I got a deal on the Hanks belt at over $100CDN. I feel like I borderline overpaid for the Popov at $75. Edit: I've worn it a bit more and I don't like it. I'm sending it back. Not even asking for a refund, just mailing it back to Popov. What a piece of garbage. Super not happy with the quality of it. I don't like the unburnished/brushed/polished whatever it is you call that finish, as it has a lot of friction when trying to string it through your belt loops. I don't like the unburnished edges. Maybe it's fine but it's the thinnest, least confidence inspiring belt I've worn. No, it doesn't need to be super thick to be good, but based on how it's wearing where I buckle it, I'm not going to be happy in a year so back it goes. Your mileage may vary.

Hi Craig, First off, I want to say that I'm really sorry that your recent experience with us fell short. I appreciate you taking the time to write out such a detailed review—it's tough to hear, but it's this kind of honesty that helps us improve. I'm proud of the quality of our full-grain leather belts, even though they might feel a bit softer than you're used to. But hey, if you're not feeling confident about it, then we need to listen to that. About the pricing—yeah, our products aren't the cheapest out there. We genuinely believe in the quality of the materials we use and the effort we put into crafting each belt, but we get it if it didn't seem like a good deal to you. And I also wanted to apologize for the number of emails. Our intention was to keep you in the loop, not to flood your inbox. We'll be sure to take another look at how we're doing things there. Even though you didn't ask for a refund, we're going to give you one anyway. We've got a lifetime guarantee because we want our customers to be happy with their purchase, and it doesn't sound like that was the case for you. Really, thank you for taking the time to let us know what we can do better. We take your thoughts to heart and I hope we get the chance to show you that in the future. If there's anything else you want to chat about, don't hesitate to reach out. - Ryan

I actively seek out quality leather goods and finding a Canadian made option at a reasonable price seemed elusive until I came across this site. I love my belt and it oozes refinement. The sizing recommendations are a curatebut you may consider only going up 1 inch from your pants if you are planning on losing weight and/or to allow for some stretching. Next up, maybe a watch strap.
