“I paid $7 for shipping. Fine that was an up front cost that I accepted. I got the belt and it just didn’t look like I expected. The color just didn’t look like the picture to me. When I went to do a simple return I found that to return it I would have to pay a $22 fee. How it costs $7 one way and $22 the other way I will never understand. I said I’d ship it back myself and pay my own shipping and they waved the fee, but the damage was done. This company needs to think about how this policy makes their customers feel. It feels like a scam to get you to keep something you don’t want or trade it in for something else you don’t want. I will never order from this company again.”
Hi Derek - you're 100% right, if the product looks nothing like what you ordered, the return shipping should be on us. I'll go ahead and waive that for you. I also agree with you on the optional return label fees, unfortunately, we have to charge what USPS charges us. We ship all our goods with Canada Post and have a negotiated rate with them. But not with USPS. In the near future, I hope to waive all return fees; we are looking into setting up a US-based warehouse so we can avoid any cross-border label fees. Thanks for all your feedback.

“Good folks up in the beautiful North country. Although the style was not what I hoped for (wider and more rugged than I imagined it to be - I had trouble fitting it through most of my pant belt loops), the belt was of the highest quality leather and craftsmanship. I returned the belt after a week only to discover much later that they had never received it yet made the refund immediately after a follow-up email.”
