“I have always been skeptical of buying a belt that I couldn't try on but I'm glad I took the chance with this one. The pictures and description do not do it justice. The leather is butter soft and super thick. You always wonder if the buckle will pinch and scratch but I can assure you this one does not. If you're on the fence, I would recommend you jump off and run to buy this belt.”
“The belt came wider than I was expecting, but it has since grown on me. On the first wearing I received multiple compliments, and was asked where I purchased it. It looks and feels like quality leather, and I expect that it will age well.
One gripe that I have with this belt is that there is an odd crease / bend between the 5th and 6th holes that shouldn't be from wear, as I tend to buckle my belt in the 3rd / 4th holes.
If this crease was not present I would absolutely give a 5 star review, but this particular issue bothers me just enough to knock it down a star. Of course, this could be a fault on my end as I have not been taking care of the belt, so take this review with a grain of salt.”
“First - dealing with the company (website, email, shipping) was smooth and responsive - I only had one question which was answered very quickly, politely, and reassuringly.
Now, the belt! I am a small man (28" waist) and a minimalist with high standards. I wanted an unadorned belt that fit well for a reasonable price that would last me many many years (my last one endured over 20). I found this one very appealing online, and was hopeful that the handmade skill would yield the quality I wanted; I knew nothing of Horween leather, but took it as an unknown plus.
I am honestly stunned by the quality of this belt - the craftsmanship is impeccable, the thickness, heft, and appearance is more than I hoped for, and the leather! Oh, the leather...it came out of the box as soft as a well broken-in Nokona baseball mitt, smelling gloriously of good leather, creaking occasionally as I put it on just like my old saddle did many years ago. Pleasing to almost all of the senses (I grew out of chewing on a belt many decades ago). I'm definitely going to be giving these as gifts to my sons...and looking into dop kits and wallets. I want more of this quality in my life!”
“As soon as I opened the cover and unveiled the Belt all I felt was that aroma of pure leather which you cant make anywhere. It is soft Leather unlike WICKET AND CRAIG leather and i can see the Grains of the hide which is a feast to eyes.
Simply it lasts for a lifetime and i can't even imagine how good the patina comes up on my Belt which is unique in its way.
