“The leather was beautiful, but we found it too stretchy to use as a sturdy collar for our dog. We were expecting a more utilitarian, sturdy quality of leather that could be used on a dog who pulls on his leash. We ended up taking it off of him after a week. After waiting 6 weeks for this collar, it was a huge disappointment.”

“This is a well built leather collar, same as every other piece of Popov leather. We ordered according to the directions and it fits the middle hole with a few holes on either side. The extra tab is on longer side and sometimes falls out of the brass ring, but it's not a big issue to tuck it back in. The leather has stretched a bit and we will likely have to use one hole smaller, so may have to manually trim the tab of it's too long.
We have gotten numerous compliments on it and except it to last many years. We also purchased the matching leash and it's equally as nice.
It is a classy looking collar and has made it officially, everyone in our house is a Popov customer.
Personally, I would recommend ordering one size smaller to account for stretching. Out dog is an off leash dog park dog, but her over excitement from the car to the park, is what likely caused the stretching. Just something to keep in mind if your have dog that pulls when on leash.
