“Huge chunk of leather that smells amazing and is a great looking and functioning desk pad. Doesn’t look quite as aesthetically pleasing as my wallet, belt, or other products from Popov (more scarring and discolorations on this piece, not as much marbling color), but no doubts about the quality. Will be fun to see the patina as it develops.”
“I am very happy with the English Tan desk pad. The leather is thick and will patina nicely over the coming years. Finishing is also great, no frayed edges or burnt orange color like I read about in some other reviews.”
“Super pleased with this desk flesh. The color is gorgeous and it has instantly elevated my cheap and nasty home office into salon of excessive class. Bonus: my life now smells like new boots, every day. Don't be a wuss by buying a mouse pad, get your mice running around on this instead. Fact.”
“The thickness and size of the desk pad is really great. It’s the right size for my desk. However it’s not perfect. The colour is not even close to English Tan. It’s more of a burnt orange colour and this does not match with the valet tray I also purchased along with other several items in English Tan. I understand that the thickness of the leather played a major role in the colour but it should at least be a little close to the advertised colour. Secondly after just a few days of having the keyboard resting on top, the colour migrates where the rubberized keyboard feet have been resting as it would if the pad was stretched or pulled. However, this is leaving permanent light marks on the pad. I tried using pull-up cream to restore the spots but it did not work either. Not sure if this is normal and expected behaviour. As a workaround I have been placing small leather samples under each foot of the keyboard to prevent further scaring.”
“Though this desk pad didn't work out for me (it wasn't right for my desk), it was clearly a high quality product, made from great leather, and nicely tanned. I wish it fit my space/desk better.”
