“This is a great design for someone coming from a bifold or trifold bulky wallet as it will help you to slim down your wallet while also leaving you with room to grow. The leather is beautiful and forms to your cards and pocket very quickly.”
“Upon receiving my new Thin Wallet, I found the outer pockets quite tight and the middle pocket unable to accept dollar bills... but after discussing with Ryan, I stretched it out with extra cards and 1 week later it comfortably carries 7 cards and 10 bills. This is built with the quality of my Popov 5 pocket, but thin enough to carry in my front pocket! Exactly what I was hoping for.”
“Pros:
Leather quality is great and will show use over time which adds character
Love the quickdraw in lieu of an ID window as almost all ID windows eventually fail to hold the ID secure enough for me.
Smart construction to keep thickness to a minimal
Should hold up to a lifetime of use
Cons:
A touch larger than I prefer since it is designed for International currency (US resident)
The Card slots are really just one pocket with a secondary divider, which is part of the way they keep the thickness down (pro), but it means that both card slots have the same depth, so cards sit at the same position in slots 1 and 2 (con). A solution would be to sew the interior leather divider at the bottom to keep the cards behind a little higher than the front for easier viewing and access, or lower the leather in front and divider and perhaps change the cut to expose a bit more card.
Overall a really great product for those who use cards more than cash. I think that I would probably use the second card slot for cash rather than the middle and adjust my cards as needed, though I rarely carry cash these days.”
“Wallet is exactly as advertised and a great purchase for the cost. I also experienced my ID window (which is optional) being cut slightly too big so I have to re-adjust every so often, but its still snug enough to not worry about the ID slipping out. I can tell already that the leather will age well and will be of good use for quite some time.”
“I've been looking for a sleek wallet and have tried many minimalist wallets. However the problem with most of them was that they were way too small to properly fit cash in without some creative folding. This wallet is the perfect size while maintaining it's sleekness and the quick slide is actually way more handy than I thought.
Overall, build is super sturdy, it doesn't hurt my ass after sitting on it for a prolonged amount of time, and definitely worth the price.”
“Great wallet so far. Haven't had it in my pocket as much as I'd like so far, but it is essentially my perfect wallet. I got his wallet for a steal on the pre order and now I'm enjoying it thoroughly. It's slim, beautiful, and robust. The ID window is a great feature since I use one of my ID cards a few times a day. I'm very happy with this wallet”
“Nicely made, quality leather, well assembled. ID window is cut too large and off center, my ID is half popped through the window every time I pull it out. Might be because I back pocket it. Also sat on some gravel and got some permanent dents in the leather, again, probably shouldn't sit on it. The dents don't bother me but my ID trying to come free worries me a little.
Happy with the wallet overall, especially at the preorder price. Card window, not so much.”
“This wallet, which I purchased at an introductory pre-sale price, has been great for the couple of weeks I've had it. It's actually a slight increase in total size vs. my previous slim wallet, but I still prefer this one for a few reasons. First off, I ordered mine with the ID window option, which I'm really enjoying. I'm old enough to rarely get carded, so I actually use this window for quick access to my most used cards (debit and Costco, with ID on the bottom) and it works well. The window fits at least 3 cards, and sliding one out by pressing with your thumb can easily be done one handed. That's much easier then my old wallet, which had cards jammed into pockets tight enough that they usually had to be pinched with one hand while holding the wallet with the other in order to remove a card. The leather itself is very nice as well, feeling supple but durable without being too stiff. My one initial concern has been that it's taller than my last wallet, presumably so as to hold cash. I've put more cards in this central pocket as I usually carry too much cash (work tips) to try and jam in there. That extra height is wasted space for me and takes up more room in my pocket, but as mentioned the leather is soft enough that it conforms to the shape of my leg. Plus, I got my initials on it, which seems a little silly but still neat. A new wallet seemed unnecessary at the time I bought this, more of a novelty, but even just for the practical reasons I've mentioned it was worth it.”
