I've ordered several Popov wallets and journal covers over the years and none of them have disappointed. The one was a gift for my grandson and personalized with his name. He likes it a lot. Dinging the rating a star because it came with the wrong color thread, not the creme I ordered. Still looks good though.

I love the stitching and the pen sheath definitely holds a greater variety of pens than some of the similar items on Etsy.

The natural leather offering is amazing and you can front/pocket carry this notebook as EDC with the Field Notes or similar. Very unique with the pen/pencil sleeve attached!

Feels good to hold, feels good to write in. With most everything on screens these days, there’s something refreshing about going back to pen and paper, and this makes it so much better. Fits in my back pocket and holds my pen just fine. Already developing character, and the quality of the personalization is great as ever.

Really great workmanship and the Holder for the Pencil is really required if you want to keep it closed. I use mine every day.

This field notes cover is absolutely perfect. Like all Popov leather products this definitely does not disappoint. Beautiful craftsmanship, nice grain, will age very nicely. Perfect size, slides into the back pocket and fits nicely in the hand. Pen loops are great. Good and snug and keeps the cover closed. Card slots are also snug. Its perfect! Highly recommend!

I've had my field notes cover for a few months now, and it is perfect. It's starting to develop a beautiful patina and I get compliments on it all the time. I carried it as a wallet for a while, but now mainly use it for argument mapping and quick ideas and class notes.
