“My high school son has always liked my belts from Popov, but we couldn't rationalize the cost for a belt he will eventually grow out of. Grab bag cost made it doable. Only hoped to receive any of the colors other than Olive, which we found hideous to wear with much of anything. Figured it was a 80% chance that we would get one of the four other colors. Ended up ordering another belt for myself through the grab bag as well. Well, they show up a couple weeks later and sure enough, we have not just one, but two olive colored belts. Not that it really matters because they are unusable for us due to the color, but we also found out that the olive belts aren't even the same high quality Horwein leather that is used for the other four colors that Popov offers. I have other belts from Popov that I love, a wallet, a watch band, and recently ordered my wife the leather tote as a gift. To be clear, I love all of those items. Unfortunately, this recent grab bag purchase leaves a bad recent impression. To be clear, we took the risk and it turned out badly. I guess nobody to blame but ourselves. Just stinks to have this be my most recent transaction with Popov. Can't say I would recommend the grab bag situation due to our experience. $100 wasted.”
