“This black guitar strap was purchased as a Christmas gift. We had purchased one a year before in English tan and that strap is fantastic aging and breaking in nicely after five months this black leather guitar strap that we purchased for Christmas 2023 is still very stiff even after being conditioned with mink oil it seems like it’s more of like a belt one would wear around their waist. It’s horrible, I would not recommend the black leather guitar straps. I wrote to the company and they never replied Highly dissatisfied”
“I loved my first popov strap so much that I bought another in black. It’s thick and adds some weight to my guitar, but it is such a nice piece that it’s worth it. I may cut it down as it’s a little long, but there are some ways around this issue.”

“I would recommend it. Full five stars for this Product (guitar Strap). Do note that, if you have a neck-heavy guitar like a Gibson SG, and because the guitar strap has a natural backing, it grips amazingly well, and holds the guitar well in place. However, if this is the case and the slight pull on your shirt is bothersome, like a constant tugging, then you need to keep this in mind as a possible issue. I Personally laced the underside of the guitar strap with a thin layer of leather with the finished side laying pressed onto my shoulder. The resistance is perfect and provides some movement without sliding on its' own.”
