That stuff is so good (and so damned expensive) that you should toss a “sample size” of it into each outgoing package … something like the size and construction of a Ketchup packet at the A & W … especially if the customer has not ordered it alongside the leather item.
Gratis, naturally. Everybody likes a nice surprise.
My reasoning? Canada Post’s minimum charge suddenly goes from $2 to about $10 if the package/envelope exceeds 20mm in thickness. So, even if a buyer realizes that maybe they should have ponied-up $12 in the first order, they are not gonna pay a total of $22 for some stuff now!
So, it will make the next leather purchase even easier … knowing that they can toss in a can (or two) without the postage extortion.
Additionally, you could sell them little packs for $2 each. Five of them would fit into a small padded 85-cent envelope that would still easily “pass through the Post Office template) and therefore cost you (and the customer) about two bucks to mail.
People would appreciate that attitude.”
