Field Notes Notebooks - Expedition Reviews

It's a notepad that you can write on in pencil under wet conditions without ruining it. This is handy if you're the sort of person who utters an internal expletive at a family reunion when asked "so what are you doing for work nowadays" and you're trying to figure out the starting point and end up shrugging, gesturing vaguely at Indiana Jones and saying, "But with much better notes and less casual destruction of historic resources." And it's much sleeker than a certain thickly bound yellow notebook that anyone who isn't confused by what I've just said is probably intimately familiar with. Like that yellow book, it eventually has a breaking point, but in real-life terms the conditions which will wreck it probably have a dramatic name like "tropical storm" and you're probably thinking in the back of your mind about avoiding hypothermia, trench foot, or how you're even going to find your way back to camp in this... stuff.
