“I have the driftwood tote with black straps and two inner pockets. I'm really pleased with the color and texture of the leather. I wear mostly neutral colored clothes and a lot of black, and this fit seamlessly into my wardrobe making it a pleasure to wear every day.
In the past, I've burned through totes because of how much I usually carry in them; the strap construction can't take the weight. I've carried a Mackbook Pro + charger, a small umbrella, a sometimes full Nalgene, wallet, and other small necessities since I got this tote in September. Some days I even load up with gym clothes/sneakers, lunch, and headphones. On days when I carry the most, I really appreciate the strap length, it makes carrying it over the shoulder very comfortable. I opted for the addition of both inner pockets, and love the feature. They're well constructed and fit a decent amount of flat type items.
This bag hasn't shown any stress due to weight in the past 6 months. The bag as a whole looks great with a lot or a little inside it; it's been an excellent and versatile bag for me , definitely worth the money.
My only experience of minor disappointment, was some color transfer. I commuted via hot subway and several blocks of walking, by the time I got to work some color from the straps transferred to my white shirt. It was a small amount, but something to be mindful of.
