Hi Brad, thanks for your review and appreciate your feedback. This behavior is fairly typical with our thick leather at first, but you'll find that the pockets will flatten and soften up as the leather is worked in. Think of it like working in a baseball mitt. With that being said, if you're not completely happy with the wallet we do offer 90-day returns; I would strongly encourage you to give it some time and break it in first.
