“Fair. I love the feel and look but I feel its a little snug on my cards and cash...I cant easily get cash in and out..like it should of been a little longer,”
“Believe it or not I haven't started using I yet. I am considering getting the trifold Popov for myself and giving this one to my son, as he was admiring it.”
“First, the good: the quality of materials and craftsmanship is superb. You can tell they are very skilled at this.
Now, the not so good:
1. It's tremendously thick. I currently have another handmade leather wallet, and even full of my cards and cash, it's still only half as thick as the Popov is totally empty. With a few cards and more than a couple of bills, the Popov would start to approach the "George Costanza 3-inch thick wallet". For me, this alone is a deal breaker. I understand thinner leather is a bit of a trade-off in terms of durability, but it's a compromise I'd gladly make.
2. There's no partition in the bills area. As a frequent traveler who routinely puts a couple of receipts and/or foreign currency in my wallet, having a simple, thin partition in the bills section makes a huge difference.
3. There's no storage behind the cards. I typically use the card slots for my credit cards, ID, ATM card, etc., and I always like those little stash pockets behind my cards for things like my medical insurance card, business cards, etc. (things that I don't need often). It's a shame these don't exist on the Popov.”
“it was everything it was described to be, the leather smell is still there! love it! It did have a couple markings on it, but that didn’t take away from the quality of leather used, nor the workmanship.”
