I purchased the Popov turntable mat to replace the mat on my Linn LP-12. I have tried many different styles. This one is the keeper. The Popov Turntable Mat is by far the best one, it looks great and the attention to detail, fit and finish are second to none. A big improvement over the original felt. I highly recommend it.

The Popov leather mat/platter looks great on my turntable.... especially as it matches the woodgrain plinth. And the smell....awesome!

If you are looking for the best turntable mat, this is it! Super smooth, well made and works perfectly. The leather is superb quality and great feel to it. AAAAA+++++!!

Every bit as nice as I hoped it would be. Mine is of a uniform thickness that doesn't alter the VTA of my turntable. I'm not one to believe in the sonic capabilities of a turntable mat, but it does look very cool and keeps static electricity at bay.

Can’t speak to the audio quality yet, but it looks great.

I would have liked the option to having it engraved with my company name. SoundLovers.

The English Tan Turntable Mat was beautifully finished. The mottled color would add a deluxe look to any turntable. My dismay centers on the fact that the leather is slightly thinner on one side causing records to behave as if they have a slight warp. This is on a Linn LP12 turntable. I very much like the anti-static effects. Sonically, it seemed to neither add or detract from the stock felt mat. But I did not spend too much time evaluating because of the constant up and down motion of the tone arm...Sort of a 50/50 review.
