“Tried it with a hotel door scanner and it worked as advertised. The door couldn’t read the card and gave an error on both sides. Once removed, the door open as normal. Extrapolating that to a credit car reader, that works on the same RF principles, I say, it works!”
“I’m sure the card does what it supposed to but I think it killed my AirPods. I usually put my wallet keys AirPods all in a valet tray and so I did that when I got home from work. Went to get my AirPods and they were dead so I charged them and noticed they were only at 13%. I really can’t think of anything else that could have done it. Now I’m not knocking the card like I said I’m sure they do the job but if you have AirPods 2 gen with the wireless charge case maybe don’t put them on your wallet.”
Hi Johnny - thanks for the feedback. The Wallet Gauntlet does not interfere or alter electronic signals/functionality. It is not powered and works by deflecting RFID signals. The card is effectively pretending to be another card causing a card clash issue in the reader or skimmer.

“Purchased the Gauntlet to protect my information from being skimmed in my 5 card wallet. As all Popov products i expected stellar performance.
Put it in the middle of my 5card scanned with the apps and.. what it read my cards. Took it out placed in on my cards out of my wallet it didn't read them. Head scratching some emails back and forth i got it straightened out. Do not use in conjunction with other RF blockers. I had one of the envelope style sleeves in one side of my 5 card and it would read my cards from the side the sleeve wasn't in. Removed the sleeve and it works flawlessly.
