“I was debating buying the Hermes leather band for 5x the price, or this. I try not to buy anything from China, so buying a French or Canadian good was a balanced option; I chose this from Popov. Pretty happy with this band, the leather is good (not that I'm an expert), it did stretch in the first few days, but I think most leather does that. I like the look of the band, the width is good, the band length is good for my wrist, the leather has softened, I like the stitching. Craftsmanship is good. I would change/prefer a couple of things. The edge of the band is raw, I would prefer this to be finished (I don't know the term for making the leather smooth and colored). Secondly, there are two extra chrome rings on the band to secure the end while wearing. Work great, but I'd prefer a band of leather instead of the rings. The excess rings mean more scratching of the surfaces I rest my wrist on, and I think it would look better with just the one ring, I don't like bling. Lastly, when I took the bands out of the packaging (very nicely packaged/presented btw) the metal blocks that attach to the watch are sharp; not Apple OEM, however, they do fit and look fine on my Stainless Steel case, but not 100% confident on the quality. I will probably still buy the Hermes, but not for a while as I am overall really happy with this band. I forgot to enter the coupon code to get the discount, annoying because it was staring me in the face as I was looking at the website, so don't forget it if you buy, regardless, it is worth the full price and I'm happy it's Canadian made.”
