“Ordered two leather watch bands for my iWatch. Shipping took about 6 weeks but that was stated very clearly upon purchase so I have zero issue with the time. When the items arrived I was very happy with the leather quality and workmanship. The clasps slide in smoothly and securely with the watch. “The quality of the leather was lower than expected. The color of the leather was also much more red than the "English Tan" shown in the picture. I don't think I'll be a returning customer based on my experience with this watch band.”
“I like the design and hardware. Nice fit on my Apple Watch. Leather work only of “average quality” IMHO. Some slightly ragged ends on strap. Nothing unsightly, but a little less than top notch. Holes and fit is nice. Long lead time, but I was not in a rush and appreciate a built product”
“I have several Popov products which I couldn't be happier with, and I have no reason to doubt the quality of the leather and craftsmanship with this strap; however I ran into some issues with the hardware provided. Perhaps it's a isolated occurrence or simply due to an active lifestyle, but I'd like to raise my concerns regardless. From the start, the free retaining metal loop was never quite tight enough for the strap which resulted in the free end of the strap constantly flapping around and getting in the way of daily activities. Also, the black finish quickly wore off showing bare metal. These issues I dealt with as they were minor annoyances. Then, about two months ago, the connector to the watch itself disintegrated while walking my dogs, and I had to spend some time searching for the watch and pieces in 10 inches of snow. I contacted customer service with my concerns, and they were extremely helpful, courteous, and prompt in getting me the pieces to reassemble my watch and strap. I assembled it per their instructions with the hardware provided with ample torque and didn't think about it again. I contemplated using some threadlocker but decided against it. Then, this week, I was walking into a gas station and heard the thud of my watch hitting the ground after the band disintegrated once again, leading to the demise of my screen. I truly know little about leather quality, as does the average buyer of this product most likely, but the strap itself has aged with a beautiful patina. I hate to stop wearing such a quality piece, but my $18 faded "leather" strap from overseas withstood more abuse prior to my wearing this one, and so I will be returning to a seemingly lower-quality product. I would recommend this product with hesitance or a possible revision of the hardware.”
