Ultimate Heavy Duty Professional Landscaper Bundle (Heavy Duty Tips) Reviews

5 Rating 9 Reviews
I bot this package 3 months ago after considering it for quite a while, and watched Garden Answer YouTubes that were a big help. The augers and the Dewalt DCD 130 TI 60 v mixer drill are a GODSEND! My wife and I planted 60 allium bulbs in Jackson Hole, WY after receiving the package, and that job was made infinitely easier w/the Power Planter. The ground here supplies the SUPREME TEST because it is a glacial plain consisting of various sized pebbles and silt. Prior to Power Planter, to plant anything I used a pick, shovel, and trowel which was exhausting and time consuming. I have a house in PA also, which has a lot of rock, and planting bulbs there was a breeze, too. I’ve also used it for putting snow stakes along our driveway. Also, thought I’d use it for fertilizing trees along their drip line, but haven’t done that yet. The Power Planter company is a small, 12 employee, family owned business located on farmland in south central Illinois, and I was pleased to support them as they were very helpful. If I were a professional landscaper, owning this tool would be mandatory. Tom Helm

I purchased the ultimate heavy duty professional landscaper bundle because we moved to a new built home with compacted heavy clay that needed breaking up and amending before we could plant anything that would live! The 7 inch auger is doing an amazing job if pulverizing the clay and helping me dig 2 feet down. I’m also using it to mix in the soil amendments. I plan to use it to dig the holes to plant shrubs and use the smaller auger to dig holes to plant spring bulbs this fall. I am an avid flower gardener but I’m not strong. I’m a 71 year old female and the 7” auger is making quick work of several hundred square feet of flower bed garden amending. I recommend if you’re elderly to get a leg brace to wrap your left thigh with for padding, brace the left handle on your thigh and go in short spurts. My thigh was bruised at first from the thumping against it but the leg brace provided the padding I needed. Also get some heavy duty garden gloves that will protect your right thumb web from friction snd blisters if you plan to use this for several hours. The vibration creates friction in that spot. Watch the safety video, follow directions and you’ll love this tool! My neighbors will be borrowing it next!

Excellent product. Had to use a pick previously to dig holes for trees. White clay, red clay, and old asphalt millings driveway that is hard as a rock; does not matter the two smaller augers bore through. Lots of power in the drill to get the job done. Some of the best money ever spent (64 yoa). Going to drill more holes for fertilizer distribution.

Absolutely love the power planter. We have red clay soil and it is amazing how it digs through it. We purchased the professional bundle, Jenny's pick from Creekside Nursery, but we use this in our home garden and even though it is heavy duty it is light enough for my wife to use it. Highly recommend this for anyone who gardens.

Just an absolute game changer. We have clay soil and after putting in over 100 plants this year (most without this set) I’m so happy to have this moving forward. Special thanks to Creekside and Garden Answers on YouTube for recommending. A great company with quick shipping!

Used this weekend for the first time on a large commercial spring color installation and the auger system performed flawlessly. Glad I made the purchase.
