“We actually haven't used it yet--purchased it for an upcomilng project. However, I just came inside from working on the brush fence I am building. Two weeks ago husband used our 30" x 2" auger to drill holes, for setting the 24 limbed 6' saplings which are the support for the brush. I myself have not yet used any of our now 3 augurs, as I broke my wrist in June when we were using the 30" 2" to break ground for a 52" deep trench. No vibrating power tools for me for yet a few months! However--I keep thinking of more ways to use these augers--hence our buying a third. The 3" is intended for another fencing experiment--with ~8-10', 3" at base saplings, to make a new deer deterrent for the newest little orchard area. I only say "Acceptable" because we have not used the tool yet. For the augers we have used, a five star is my choice.”
