“The simplicity of the design is very good, as the size of the strap is easily adjusted to suit the diameters of the lid to be unscrewed. The handles is a comfortable size for the average women, but a man should be able to cope OK! The only criticism is that the strap is smooth, so will easily slip on a smooth edged tin lid, for example. So, the user must first use both hands to make the strap as tight as possible immediately before appying force through the handle, in order that the 'biting edge' of the handle secures the strap in position. After that, the unscrewing is a simple one handed operation leaving the other hand to grip the jar or bottle being opened.”

“I already own a Baby Boa Constrictor and have recommended it to all my friends and family. I have had mine for years and use it regularly, very strong and looks as good as new even after years of use. I don't use it for plumbing jobs but to help me loosen tops ranging from large jars to the screw tops on plastic milk bottles and wine bottles, very versatile and I wouldn't be without it.”
