“Yes. Have had STBY Genies at other homes so this one is not exactly new to me. All installed and appropriately tested, strange to say but hope I do not have to use it to power my home. A good device it will be any rate.”

“when i first received my generator it looked fantastic butlater when i tried to get it going it didnt go so good never having had a generator before i didnt know that the oil had to be topped up so wouldnt start now i know its fantastic but should inform people that it wont start unless correct amount of oil is in it”

“Only 4 stars because this is not an 'out of the box' generator. Although it was extremely well packed and was delivered as promised, it took a couple of days to get it tested. Fuel and oil no problem but, you need to have the generator earthed/grounded with an earthing spike prior to use, this information would be useful if included in the advertisement and/or specification. Once done the generator started immediately, runs quietly and does what is supposed to with no problem.”

“The first delivery was the wrong version of the generator ordered however Power Tools responded very quickly to correct the mistake. I am very pleased with the product which started first time and ran very well.”

“Bought after having no electricity after stirms for 2 days, fuelled it up and had it running 1 day after delivery works very well. Tested running large freezer and central heating with no problem. Will start every few weeks to make sure all is well for next winter...Small problem with delivery because of weight but resolved by supplier..”
