“The product seems aimed at the DIY user. It feels quite ergonomically designed and controls are easy to use. I very much liked the 'soft start' feature which makes it easier to control from from the outset. It seems to perform well with adequate power for most DIY projects. The height adjustment is a all plastic, but functions well enough, another 1/2 metre of flex would have been usefull. What I won't use, as supplied, is the pattern follower, which when fitted is only held in place by the routers plastic base plate, which sandwiches the pattern follower in a recess. There are holes for securring screw in the pattern follower which are much too big for the heads of the 4mm pan head screws currently supplied, (I have made Draper aware, who state they will investigate). In conclusion it performs well and is good value for money, especially purchased from Power Tools Direct at a good price. 4 stars only for 'Quality' becaue of Pattern Follower issue, as detailed above, (a very easy fix for Draper).”
