“The downlights on the house we purchased had no protection and all the builders (or owners) had done was push the insulation away from them which was then causing moisture (enough to drip off the felt onto the loft boards below which were water stained) directly above on the roof felt. Installed these and put the insulation back. Within 24 hours the moisture had gone. Just make sure not to install them above dichroic downlights.”
