“The course was very informative, coming from a dairy farm I was surprised to learn about a protozoan sometimes found in unpasteurized milk. The initial reason for pasteurizing milk was to eradicate bovine tuberculois [sic?] from the human population. But if pasteurization also got rid of the cryptosporidium protozoan then that was a bonus. A minor quibble on the material itself.
The online presentation was very good except for the lack of explanation about the two areas that kept track of my progress through the modules. In the first review I stated there should be an explanation above both of them. Modules 6 and 8 did not have a next button on pages they should have had, so I had to phone in and someone manually fixed the two problems from the other end. That way I could complete the modules. Glitches do happen, so if the problem is rare then the occasional student has to live with it. If that problem is not rare then it should be addressed. During the final exam at the start of the next page, the record of how many questions are answered is helpful and being able to go back easily and check the exam was something I appreciated. I am very satisfied with the course.”
