“I am highly impressed with my mauves palette (I bought the sapphire, as well... haven't yet got to test it). I've used my mauves palette several times and I keep reaching for it when I'm wanting a pink/purple look. Very well pigmented, but not so much I have to do a crazy amount of "clean up" and blending to get the soft, sultry look I'm going for. And if I do want more punch, it builds well. And, very surprisingly, it lasts all day.
I'm writing this review at 12:53am and I did my makeup about 1:30pm and my eyes look the same as they did when I finished.
I know some profusion palettes are hit or miss... this is a definite HIT!! (I was less impressed with the Wanderlust palette. Ended up decluttering it to my daughter, who loves it. So, to each their own, I suppose). At the price that these palettes are, you can't go wrong giving any of them a try and seeing if it works for you. I have heard many say that the smaller palettes often have better HITS, but, I don't mind splurging on any and seeing which ones I like (and just declutter the ones that don't work for me!)”
