Purples are so pigmented and beautiful

I find these to be good quality for the price, but the formulas aren't consistent. The mattes are actually pretty darn good and the shimmers are okay. A bit stiff and not insanely pigmented but they work. However, the glitter formulas are impossible and I just tape over those shadows because they frustrate me every time I try to use them. I've tried different eyeshadow primers including glitter primer and it is patchy, sheer, won't stick over other shadows as a topper and microglitter gets everywhere. I wish the pans were metal and magnitized into the palette so I could just remove the ones I enjoy. The packaging is plain, cheap, works great. I still wish I could remove the pans to put them in a magnetic palette. I'd pay a bit more for that! I was a little sad these were very warm-toned purples and pinks and I wish they had more cool-toned purples.

Easily my favorite Profusion eyeshadow palette. Also ridiculously great for the price. Mattes are buildable, pigmented, and blend easily. They're relatively emollient; think a bit drier than Sydney Grace. Shimmers are also emollient, and the very fine glitters give great reflectivity on the eyes. There's a little crumbly kickup sometimes, but those easily blend out. The color range is ideal and intentional. There are roughly the same number of mattes and shimmers; both textures have light, medium, and dark tones; both red-based and blue-based purples were explored. I really like the inclusion of neutral colors for greater versatility for work-appropriate looks. Including a really deep matte like "Fudge" elevates this palette above the rest for me. I suggest getting primer to use 'Concord', as it's a little sheer and it needs finger application to bring the glitter particles out. 'Pegasus' needs a little building up, but you want that to maximize the shimmer of the blue and pink particles in it. It's an absolutely stunning shade. 'Innocent' is also less pigmented than the rest, but being a transition shade it's quite perfect as is. Standout shades: 'Whoa' / 'Pegasus' / 'Blissful' / 'Fudge'

This palette is so pigmented and the purple shades are really easy to blend and create a look with. Usually purple shadows are patchy or hard to work with but not these. LOVED this palette.

At least these haven't broken like shimmer and shappires did. Just using makeup brushes caused them break. But I like violets.
