“Of all the profusion palettes I have tried, I definitely feel like this is the best. Don't expect a ton from the shimmers but you can build them up okay. I do use glitter glue to help.”
“Formula is mind-boggling for the price. Mattes are pigmented and easy to blend; shimmers feel emollient with the finger and have this beautiful reflective appearance because the glitters are quite fine. You don't even need primer to get good shimmer payoff, though I'd recommend it when using 'Harlequin' as it has a sheerer base than the rest.
Color range is fantastic. Very seldom do color-themed palettes delve into both warm- and cool-toned sides of the theme, but this one does it smartly. I think 'Russet' makes this palette versatile for both work and party purposes. My only qualm is that I would prefer a deep evergreen matte to replace one of the gold shimmers or 'Fern'/'Juniper', so as to round out the eye look when I wear 'Galaxy'. Meadow is a beautiful bluish/peacock teal, but on me it is slightly patch and is brighter than what I'm looking for. I really can't complain much for the price, though.
Standout shades: 'Galaxy' / 'Gilded' / 'Harlequin' / 'Juniper'”
“Some of the mattes have a fair bit of fall out but still look good on the eye. The glittery colours definitely apply better with your finger than a brush. Gorgeous colours though, the emerald shades complement each other beautifully, and galaxy is a lovely colour.”
