“Although this is an all metallics palette, there's variation in the formulas of different colors, and different balances of pigment vs. shine. Some apply much better than others, and some are patchy and difficult to work with. I've spent quite a bit of time experimenting with application methods, primers, etc., and so far I'm favoring a slightly dampened sponge applicator (the kind that come in smaller drugstore eyeshadows and palettes) over brushes (patchiness, fallout) or fingers (picks up beautifully on fingertips but transfers poorly to eyelid). As a novice with metallics and relative newcomer to eyeshadow at all, I'm actually having fun playing around and seeing what happens, but if you want something you can slip right in to your rotation for regular use, this might not be the best choice. Weirdly, I've by and large had better results with the metallics in some of Profusion's color-based/multi-finish palettes than almost any in this one so far.”
“Just to let you guys know this pallet has the same shades as the SHIMMERS pallet but I love this pallet so much I been trying to find a pallet with shimmers and this is perfect I'm so glad I order this I highly recommend it”
