“This is better than I expected! I wanted to take a star off for the pan size, since they are so tiny, but I just couldn't, because it's really great. The color story is really well curated, as I've come to expect from Profusion. It's not a chiche colorful palette. It has an intention with the two rows of neutrals (but not boring) at the top, and then moving to yellow/orange, blue/green, and pink rows, I think it's perfect for springtime. In fact, I think it is an underrated spring option, because Profusion just doesn't market well. I have yet to see any of these new releases at any of the half dozen or so Walmarts in my (MN) area. That's a big mistake.
But the quality of the shadows is great. The pastels seem to be well pigmented. The shimmers are great performers. The glitters need glitter glue to perform, but the color choices are good.
I don't mind the packaging. There's a mirror, and the cardboard is sturdy, which makes up somewhat for the tiny pan size. And the design is cute, though it looks a bit childish, and I really prefer to have square or rectangle palettes. But that's just me.”
