“Profusion eyeshadows are my go-to since I discovered them - the shades are beautiful, the palettes are wonderfully curated, and for the most part they perform like high end - no other brand in this price range can touch them. So I really hate having to give a review that's less than 5 stars... To start with I'm in love with the shades in this palette - it's a beautiful range of pinks and purples with just enough neutrals to make them pop. There are several gorgeous duochromes, and three pressed glitters in vibrant pinks and purples. The reason I can't give this palette 5 stars is because something went wonky with the formula in some of the metallic shades - they're more like creams than powders. They remind me of NYX's Foil Play shadows (which I found very disappointing), except that they're easier to work with. They do dry down to a more powdery texture, and can be blended with other shades, they just require a little more work and don't apply that well with a brush. This isn't something that would stop me from buying it again or recommending it, but I do miss Profusion's usual, high performance formula.”
“All in all, this is a great palette to have around if you're into pink toned shadows. Most are very pigmented and seldom require multiple layers to show up on skin, my only grievance is how patchy the darker, blue and purple shadows turn out. They kind of make me look like I got punched in the eye and they aren't nearly as blendable as the others. The glitters are great and easily removable at the end of the day, though!”
