I love all things spiders and webs so as soon as I saw this, I knew I had to have it. I bought it and a few other palettes as a Birthday present to myself. Everytime I'd go to play in one of the other palettes, I'd end up using at least 1 color from this one. The selection makes this an easy palette to grab for many looks, and the formula is what I already know and love about Profusion. I own 6 of their palettes now.

This is a very fun palette with some strengths and some flaws. Pros: For the price you get a fun range of colors and formulas. I love the theme and I think the different sized pans could have been really cool (if it had been thought out better). I'm glad the yellow is good, many times yellows suck in large rainbow palettes. I like that there aren't a much of beige or brown mattes, since many palettes just throw those in and instead there is a range of colorful mattes! Cons: A few shades are complete duds. The bright red matte is dry and won't build up even with my finger, it comes off pinkish and patchy. Same with the matte purple across from it. The formulas are not consistent throughout, I also bought the Mauves palette and in comparison the mattes are so buttery in that palette. Several shades are very repetitive (and even worse they are some of the largest shades so they have the most product but basically dupe themselves) the shiny olive green and the darker shiny green build up to look almost identical. The shiny ‰ЫПblack‰Ыќ colors are so similar and would be so much better if they had been the small shades (who is going to use up multiple large pans of sparkly blackish colors in one palette? I wish some of the small special shades at the center had been reversed to be on the outside in the larger pans.) basically I think the color story should have been inverted and the a few colors tweaked to be more distinct (how about a dark brown matte or a black matte instead of these similar sparkly dark colors?) it feels like the design team didn't even bother swatching the palette before putting it into production and I expected more from profusion. I'm glad if they had to include pressed glitters at least they are the small pans (but pressed glitters are dangerous for your eyes, bad for the environment, and these are chunky and not very flattering). Profusion has beautiful shimmer shades! This palette would have been waaay better if those three pressed glitters were shimmers or duochromes! Also, the smallest pans because of their shape and how tiny they are hard to really get your finger in them (and I have pretty small fingers) but since they are shimmers most don't pick up well on a brush, so it takes away from the functionality of the palette.

Ok, so wow. I was in a desperate need of a Ranbow pallete but so many of them where either expensive or didn't have the range of colors that I was looking for. But THIS...THIS WAS EVERYTHING I EVER WANTED. So many beautiful, pigmented, smooth, great quality shades at a VERY affordable price. And the packaging is a bonus. Man I feel so bad for everyone who didn't get their hands on this. The second I heard this would be on the actual Profusion website, I dipped into my savings and made sure to purchase it as fast as I could. I would say this is for everyone, especially beginners who want to experiment with color without braking the bank. These colors are perfect in variety, performance, and pigmentation. I feel that the best way to apply would be to press in the pigment and then sweep to blend. The glitters are amazing and don't need any special adhesive to stick, they do very well on their own. The mattes are very nice and a little powdery in a good way cause they are smooth and can get even more vibrant the more you apply. The shimmers are pretty good, but for better payoff use your finger or spray your brush (water or setting spray will do the job). The variety of colors is amazing, would be nice if there was a matte black and a white, but that is aye ok. I can live with what was given
