“As a chartered surveyor working in legal disrepair I need relevant CPD/Training in the more challenging situations I encounter on site. I am not able to undertake intrusive inspections and so I have to make the best assessment on available intel. This leaves me struggling on occasions when I struggle to present a fair assessment of the most likely cause which if incorrect could have major cost implications in the report schedule. The course gave me reassurance that I was very much on the right track, but also I learned some new tips which I was grateful for. I also now have some excellent reference material in the form of the course notes. The course could be updated taking into account the use of scan/capacitance/radio moisture meter readings and how these can support pin measurement in practice. Also the incoming practical use of drones for roofs and chimneys, and thermal imagers? This is being picky though - I enjoyed the course - thank you.”
