Excellent delivery by James, very informative and professional, whilst being lighthearted. Good overview of the most common insects found in UK buildings and a good memory jogger, from the days of training with the PCA. Andy needs a haircut and James needs a PIV in his roof void, to control his families "lifestyle" generated moisture. (only kidding!) Keep up the good work, excellent association, makes me proud to be a member. Kind Regards George Rees. Independent Surveyor.

Understanding wood-destroying insects was an excellent overview, particularly for surveyors. It was a great introduction to the key insects (beetles) and how their life cycles, particularly their larvae, destroy wood— a good overview on identifying the furniture beetle, the deathwatch beetle and other relevant wood-destroying insects. The presenter was clear and had some interesting pictures of their poo (frass) if that's what floats ye boat! He also has some great photos of the particular beetles to look out for and threw in a few hints on how to tell if the infestation is active!

Hi Stephen...many thanks for the 5 stars and kind comments. It is great to hear you took a lot away from it. We do hear you on the poo comment. I think for most of the audience (including all our PCA members), the 'poo bit' was a first for them too!! It was interesting though! Thanks again for your review.
