I found the webineer very well delivered covering a large area with specific and concise information which would be helpful to other professional persons who may are will be carrying out works of this nature

Supremely informative! I.e. As a Building Surveyor who regulalry undertakes party wall jobs with basements, I found it very useful information such as the understanding of health and safety requirements plus the necessary accrediations for underpinning.

Very informative. With so many interesting points covered it would have been even more instructive if there had been time to explore those in greater detail.

It was good to join a webinar that tackled this difficult topic. Too often, underpinning of foundations has been the default response to settlement of a building, particularly where insurers are involved. The discussion at the end highlighted that the cause of movement first needs to be identified, then an appropriate remedy found to address that cause. Often this is to fix leaking drains or moderate the action of tree roots in shrinkable clays. I know that this may mean construction work doesn't happen (what we like doing) but the client is usually happy if we solve his problems in one go.
