Generally a good webinar with some interesting thoughts. There were a couple of facts regarding warranties that need more research as the debate regarding moving the warranty requirements for new homes from 10 to 15 years needs more research.

A very good reminder of how new build drying times were the norm 70 years ago for a good reason. We have to go back to sensible up-front controls if we are to avoid expensive aftercare.

Good subject matter, as few people understand or realize the amounts of water used in the construction of their new property and any adverse weather conditions during the building process. The builders constructing the properties may well have little or no understanding of the consequences of leaving walls open and uncovered during the build process and the "dry" storage of materials on-site, before being utilized. In addition, the correct ventilation and drying down of the building is paramount, before occupation, where additional moisture loading by occupants occurs, particularly in the colder winter season. Well done Tony for bringing these issues to the forefront, very interesting. Thank You.

The webinar was presented well, however I felt there was too much time spent on Mechanical ventilation as a cause. There are many other issues at play here that could have been discussed in more detail.
