“Loved the trip! The crew runs a seamless operation--so much fun, so much to do! Snorkeling, kayaking, pangas, hiking, swimming, hot tubs--great naturalist talks each night. Yummy food. Rarely saw other groups on islands, it's so well planned. Thank you!”

“The Evolution and its staff were amazing. They've got this down to a science! I felt pampered without being smothered, and cared-for without being wrapped in high cotton. The food was healthy, plentiful, simple and spectacular, all at the same time. Each day's itinerary was well-planned and executed flawlessly. The naturalist guides were knowledgeable and fun. I learned pretty quickly that I didn't have to worry about anything; all I had to do was enjoy it. And I did. Enjoy it, I mean. For me, this was the trip of a lifetime. I can't think of a single thing they could have done better.”

“Hello, The trip was wonderful. The yacht is lovely and very comfortable. The guides were very good. The food was good and accomodated my vegetarian needs. The Galapagos islands are spectacular. My one comment, which is serious, is that in my opinion there were safety issues. There were several mishaps with snorkeling, one woman who everyone claimed almost drowned. I did not see it myself so can't comment on the seriousness. There were two other snorkeling mishaps. And there were many people who came back from the hikes with heat exhaustion. There was also a potentially very serious accident with a woman falling down a full flight of stairs on the ship, notwithstanding that she was holding onto the railing. I believe the stairs were wet from just having been washed. In my opinion the guides should have cut back on the snorkeling time (they were generally supposed to be 45 minutes but the guides proudly claimed that one made the record at 1.5 hours) and the pangas should have monitored the snorkelers more closely. In addition, given the heat and strong sun, the guides could have dialed back on the hikes just a bit. Everyone had a great time but there seems no need for so many people to come back with heat exhaustion. Thanks for the opportunity to comment.”

“We loved the 1920's yacht- style of the Evolution and the fact that it only held 32 passengers. Large cruise ships are not our style. The ship was spotless, the food delicious and varied, and we enjoyed the deck access of A3 & the space. The outside bar & lounge was very special and so enjoyable. The Evolution is a perfect way to enjoy & see the Galapagos.”
