“This was a terrific way to see and enjoy the Galapagos. We had a family of 22 and bought out the boat during COVID to create our bubble. Every member of the crew was as competent as you might expect, friendly and could not do enough for us. We give special kudos to Steve Valencia, the chief of the boat. The bartender Caesar continually made fresh juices for us at breakfast and snack time and created special non-alchololic drinks for the children at lunch and dinner. The accommodations were perfect. Each cabin was bright, clean and spacious. The common areas were beautifully decorated and offered several inside and outside spaces to dine and to gather. The two naturalists- Alex Cox and Lola were knowledgeable and led the most interesting tours on land, snorkeling expeditions and lectures each evening. Captain Luids Teran was kind enough to offer a ceremonial renewer of our marriage vowels with three memorable certificates to take home. The food under chef David was exceptional - never a bad meal and his always pleasant manner of describing the creations and the Ecuadorian recipes was special. I cannot imagine a better boat or way to visit the Galapagos.”

“Thank you so much for the experience. I will definitely remember this trip for ever. The staff at he evolution is amazing. Alex and Lola were amazing guides. I learned a lot from both of you. Cesar you were an amazing bar tender and your mystery drinks that you made for really good. Steve you also so amazing. The other crew members thank you for be great too. Thank you so much.”

“The Evolution was perfect for our family. The cabins were comfortable and we had plenty of space to move around on board. It was great to have 3 guides and plenty of activities. The crew was amazing and took good care of us!”

“The only reason I am not giving it a 5 is that the hot tub was not always hot. The public areas on the yacht are ample for the size of the group, and our cabin was VERY comfortable. We chose the Evolution because we wanted to travel with a small group. The food was 5 star quality. Every crew member we interacted with was eager to help us in any way.”

We are thrilled to hear that you had a wonderful time in the Galapagos and that you highly enjoyed your experience with the yacht, its crew, your stateroom and the food served onboard. We were also very happy to read on your other company review that your whole family agreed that this was the best family trip ever! Our staff and crew members are always striving for above-and-beyond service, and your comments go a long way toward our goal of constant improvement. We appreciate you letting us know about the issue with the hot tub water temperature. The following information is available in all staterooms on your Onboard Information Document: “The onboard hot tubs on our yachts are available for use from after breakfast until 7pm in the evening (unless otherwise notified by your Hotel Manager). Aside from the times right after snorkeling when the hot tub is always hot, whenever you would like to use it, please let your Hotel Manager know at least 30 minutes before use so that the water can be heated. This helps us minimize the unnecessary use of energy and fuel onboard to maintain the water hot all day.” We are unsure if you communicated the issue to our Hotel Manager while onboard, but in order to prevent this issue from happening again in the future we have brought your comments to the attention of our captain and the Hotel Manager aboard the Evolution so that all future guests are properly informed about this during their welcome briefing.
