My daughter and I loved the Evolution. Being on the yacht felt like being transported back in time - to a time when travel by boat was luxurious. We stayed in cabin A2, which was very nice and quiet. In addition to the fact that the yacht is beautiful, the staff aboard the Evolution, especially the naturalist who accompany you on land, were kind, helpful, and highly attentive to detail. We instantly felt at home on the Evolution. In the end, the week flew by but the memories will last a lifetime.

I flew from Quito to Baltra Island where I jumped on a panga dinghy ride (met by Quasar guides at Baltra airport) to board the Evolution yacht where I spent 7 nights and 8 days. Each day on the Evolution was a different experience. From the culinary expertise to the detailed itinerary, every day was full of new activities, wildlife to see, new landmarks, and beaches to see... i can’t put into words how unique Galapagos is. Quasar’s crew, guides and staff made everyone on board including myself, feel like we belonged there. I made lifetime friends onboard the Evolution, shared moments that were defining, and would no doubt travel solo or with family and friends again with Quasar.

We loved the Evolution. It looks a little worn on the outside but everything was lovely on board. It has lots of open space which is perfect for social distancing. We were only in our cabins for sleeping. Also, it was a smooth ride. None of the passengers on our trip were seasick.

I wouldn't have changed anything about the The Evolution! It was comfortable, unique, and the perfect adventure yacht for the islands. Everything was taken care of from the time we woke up in the morning to the time we went to bed at night. I loved the cleanliness, attention to detail, and friendly crew.

We knew from the beginning that we didn’t want to be on a big boat. We wanted something smaller, that would allow us to visit the islands in a more intimate manner. The Evolution was perfect for us. Cabins were huge and very comfortable. Food was delicious and we really enjoyed all the space on deck to be outside. In a place with such inviting weather as the Galapagos, the last place you want to be is inside. I would recommend this yacht to anyone wanting to visit Galapagos.

Absolutely unparalleled accommodations aboard the Evolution Yacht. We felt so spoiled! For example, at one point, I hopped off the panga and made a comment about the deck feeling a little hot on my feet, and a crew member came up behind me to spray my feet off with a hose to cool them down. Wow–what service!! The chefs and crew were extremely accommodating for my food allergies as well, and the food was worth the trip in and of itself. Our room and beds were wonderful and comfy, however, we spent most of our time on the upper decks enjoying wildlife watching, good laughs, fresh pressed juice, warming up in the jacuzzi after snorkeling, doing yoga, drinking cocktails, and chatting newfound friends.

My cruise on the Evolution Yacht was everything I had hoped for, and more. I had my own room, and the bed was huge for a cruise. There was plenty of storage for all my luggage, and a lot of hooks to hang towels and wet clothes throughout the cabin. I loved coming back to the room each afternoon to see what towel animal was waiting to greet me on the bed. The room and linens were kept super clean the entire week, including the trash that was emptied multiple times a day while we were on excursions. The food and drinks were 5-star. You definitely get what you pay for with Quasar Expeditions.

The Evolution is a wonderful boat and the cruises are top notch, from the guides to the food and the rooms. The wildlife opportunities were one of a kind - since it's a smaller boat we were able to anchor in some spots the larger boats couldn't to have a once in a lifetime experience.
