I haven't tasted the Quinoa yet as I still have a packet from the supermarket however it has come with only 3 months shelf life which in my opinion is too short for a dried food product. The packet in my cupboard, which I have had for ages, still has another 12 months on it.

Hi Sarah, Sorry to hear you weren't happy with the shelf life. BBD is 2 years from production but there are no issues from a taste/texture or health perspective to use and eat well past this date. Historical tests have shown the grains are fine biologically for 5 years, and only starts to deteriorate organoleptically from approx. 4 years. Please get in touch with us if you still feel unhappy about this. Thanks, Lucy

I note that the new packaging contains 20% less. That's shrinkflation for you.

Great product - packaging not so much… This is a great product and we enjoyed the quinoa. I will purchase again. But, just to flag that the interior plastic is very brittle and you need to be careful. I opened the interior package and left to fill a pan with water and it collapsed and ripped just sitting on its own on the counter...quinoa everywhere. My own clumsiness, but I don't think it should be designed like this. Worth keeping in mind when you open the box

Better than Andean Sol - I received this to review a while back. This quinoa tastes better than Andean Sol. Will be changing brands because of this and the fact that Andean have appalling plastic packaging compared to this. Makes for a healthy dinner when cooked until light and fluffy, and served with baked salmon and a side salad.

disgusting packaging - Very thin plastic bag, it ripped and quinoa was all over the kitchen. There is no way something will be left even with rapture as in more thicker bag, this one just dont hold anything. Was brought as a substitute for Waiteose one. Its more expensive and and ended on the floor. Would never buy such a headache product again

let down by the packaging - Cut the bag with scissors- if you pry open the adhesive you create a hole that will cause the quinoa to spill all over the counter and floor. Also - cooking instructions are very vague. Pretty standard will likely go back to Whole Foods bulk.
