“Wow, I love these shoes! First ride out I set a PR into a headwind. I love the way the shoe just hugs my feet. They are very comfortable and the quality is exceptional. The toe box is nice and wide, while the heel cup feels like a suction fit. The closure system is different from BOA but I think I like it better. The shoes also clean up very well. So far a warm damp cloth has done the job. Finally the sole seems to fit my Time cleats perfectly and even seems to click in better.”
“I've ordered the Escape Road shoe and it looked and felt great. I wore it for one ride and it felt like I've never worn a different shoe.
I've bought this shoe because it looked great and also was advertised as an adventure road shoe with "highly resilient" materials. Although after the first ride with a small walk over gravel and a few touches of stone, one side of the shoe is already ripped and the sole has some deep scratches. I know it's a road shoe, but in my opinion the claim "highly resilient, easy-to-clean premium material" is a bit of a stretch. It's a bit of a shame, that after the first ride, the Escape Road looks like my fizik shoes after 2 years of riding. A bit disappointed in the shoe and mostly the advertisement, but hey the shoe still works, i guess.”
