Gran Tourer - Black EU38 (prev. EU37.5) Reviews

Extremely comfortable. Well made. Good materials. Work well in all conditions, wet and dry. Would be fantastic if a BOA closure system was used rather than laces.

Dear seller, In 2018, I bought a Quoc Urbanite High Top Shoes - Tan × 1 UK 12.5, that fitted very well. I am wondering if it would be the same size for the gran tourer gravel. So, would be the 13 size in your last update sizing?

Hey Breitner, We're always happy to have returning customers! The sizing has changed very slightly, so you would need a size 13 :)

I must admit these shoes were too tight in the toe box the first 100-200 miles, a small break in period was required. Now that these shoes are starting to break in, they truly are some of the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. Highly recommend! Don’t give up on these shoes if they seem too tight at first!

After 10 years of riding exclusively Giro shoes, I decided to try another brand due to their covid related stock shortages. I had been eyeing Quoc for years, but had not met anyone who owned a pair, was uncertain of their sizing, and weary to order from a small overseas brand. Having read a bunch of excellent reviews on the product I finally decided to pull the trigger and give them a go.  Out of the box they were really beautiful, and fairly comfortable, but lacked a cushioned midsole. I also noticed that my cleats were more audibly touching the ground than with my previous shoes, the Giro Sector. Additionally, they have a lot more flex than other premium MTB/Gravel shoes in this price range.  I have had a great deal of trouble using this as a gravel shoe for higher effort rides,  adjusting the lacing to fit well, and ironically a chunk of the rock-guard / waterproof coating on the front of the shoe tore off on my first ride, exposing an area of untreated leather. Given that the Grand Tourer is a higher retailing shoe I was really let down by this damage occurring so quickly.  I reached out to the brand in hopes of addressing this very quick damage, and was told "that this category of damage is considered normal wear when impacting on rocks or similar ... our service team has suggested using black shoe touch-up paint that can work quite well for concealing cosmetic damage." I'm honestly pretty bummed out at this response. I've spent the last 2 decades working in sales & customer service between the cycling and fashion industries and have never met a company more unwilling to back their product. I'd say these could be excellent shoes for touring, and really comfortable for all day wear, but definitely not a work horse shoe for actual gravel rides. Be wary of cycling influencers and paid reviewers, the reviews are not inaccurate, it's a great shoe... it's just not a burly shoe for gravel riding.

These are the most comfortable cycling shoes I've ever owned! They felt like a pair of well-worn shoes right out of the box. I have had a really hard time finding cycling shoes that fit. Most bind along my instep and are very uncomfortable, these fit like a glove. I like them so much I ordered a pair of the night shoes for my road bike.

I was a little dubious, but after trying several other brands of gravel shoe, these are definitely head and shoulders above. The Quoc are a really nice shoe that is really well designed and made.

They look like awesome shoes! Too bad I won't be able to use them. I was on the cusp between the 40.5 or 41.5 sizes. Customer support recommended I get the same size as my Giro shoes (41.5) so I went with 41.5. Unfortunately, they fit a full size larger than my Giro shoes and returning them is too costly coming from the US.
