“My fore foot is admittedly a bit wide, but Quoc shoes have a reputation of having a wider toe box. My disappointment is that I bought the shoes on closeout with no option to return the shoes due to sizing issues.
I will try to sell the shoes locally and move to a brand that offers a wide shoe.”
Hey,
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your review. We really appreciate your feedback.
We do our best to design shoes that accommodate as many riders as possible, and our Gran Tourers are built on a standard E last, which is a fairly common width in cycling shoes. That said, we completely understand that every rider’s feet are unique, and sometimes the fit may not be quite right.
We do apologies that the sizing didn’t work out for you, especially as you picked them up in a closeout sale with no returns available. We hope you’re able to find them a new home locally and wish you the best in finding a pair that feels perfect for your feet.
Thank you again for giving QUOC a try, and for sharing your honest thoughts it helps us continue improving.
“I freaking love the QUOC Gran Tourer Lace shoe! I have wider feet and the Gran Tourer Lace fit perfectly (no more squished toes or hot spots)! I've put a lot of miles/time in these shoes already, average 12 hours per week and they continue to perform comfortably. I ride these mountain bike and gravel riding and love them for both. I get one day a week for long rides, 5-7 hours, and these are well vented and stay comfortable all day. Particulary for folks with wider feet, I can't recommend these enough. In fact, I work at a bike shop and recommended a customer purchase these over the brands our store carries because I knew they would be a better shoe and fit. I'm called a techno-grouch at times, but I love the easy fixability of lace shoes and, if I'm honest, really dig the classic aesthetic of the Gran Tourer Lace. I'm all in—best pair of biking shoes I've owned in 35 years riding SPD shoes.”
“Just did my first decent gravel ride with these. Not only do they look good, they are very comfortable and just the right stiffness for a hilly gravel ride (I use eggbeaters so small pedal platform). Would recommend, note if you have wide feet you may need the size up.”
“Still breaking these in but, to be honest, they’re a comfy fit right out of the box. Great while pedaling and really nice for walking around when getting off the bike!”
