“Good material quality. The laces stay tight thanks to the "brakes" which are convenient.
Heels have good support even when walking in the hills. The toe of the shoes is a bit narrow, could be a bit wider, but it is partly manageable by the laces setting.
I am happy with it.”
“I have only had the opportunity to use my Gran Tourer Lace shoes three times so far. That being said, they are more comfortable than my old Siri Dominators and my Specialized Recons due to the larger toe box and laces. I am still getting used to the fact that I cannot tighten them as much as my previous shoes but I feel like that’s probably better anyway.”
“I ordered these in a 44 and 45. The size guide had me in a 44 and I felt the length was right but they were just too tight on the rest of my foot so I sized up the 45. I have a little extra room in the toe, but these shoes have been really comfortable whether walking or riding. Probably the most comfortable cycling shoe off the bike that I’ve ever had. I appreciate the more flexible sole a lot, and the lace system holds in place well and gives me a lot of adjustability.
I think they look great too. Overall, great experience so far.”
“Ok, these were bought on impulse for a longer ride that would involve potentially extended walking on wet cobbles and pavements between rides. My normal go-to shoes felt too stiff and lethal for walking in the wet so took a chance on these. They are brilliant ! wore them for a couple of hours around the house to see what fit was like and to get used to them and they felt pretty good. Swapped the laces out for something a bit funkier (can we have more lace options please...) Then 1st outing was 2 x 225km rides out to watch Paris Roubaix race and back. Really comfortable, no heal lift, hotspots or discomfort at all. Great for walking in (not like ice skates) and perfectly stiff enough for riding. Feel very well made and despite some abuse, they clean up like new. Very Impressed.”
