“I've gone through a couple different brands of casual SPD shoes in the last couple years searching for the right one. It's something that is really hard to pull off, but I think QUOC has come as close as any brand out there. For me, the looks have to be there, the sole has to be stiff but walkable and the cleat has to be recessed so you're not tap dancing while off the bike. This shoe is mostly successful in that. The photos on the website make the shoe look a little chunky. I don't really see the chunkiness wearing them, and I think they come off pretty stylish. The sole is plenty stiff while cycling and is totally walkable while off the bike and the cleat is recessed in my size 43. The finish of the shoe is really beautiful and soft and the reflective details are a nice touch. The shoe is a little large for me in the heel and I feel my foot slipping out a bit , but it doesn't feel like a significant issue. Overall I'm pretty happy with the shoe and it will be my go to casual SPD shoe from now on.”
