Shoe sizing can vary quite a bit between brands, and the right size is often very personal to each rider’s foot shape. While you usually take a 42/43, it sounds like this particular style may come up a little snug for you.

“I used the sizing guide on the website and ordered size 43 (usually I am 42). The way these shoes were laced originally looked quite cool, but my heel was slipping terribly in them, I re-laced the top two holes and it is a little better, but still not 100%.
Can't really lace them too tight either, because I have quite high arches. I guess I'm gonna need to get longer laces and do the marathon knot.
The soles are a lot harder than on my previous Shimano commuter shoes, so while they feel good while on the bike, they do take some time getting used to walking in them.”
