“They're the best SPD-style cycling shoes I've ever had, so I bought a second pair. They're comfortable on the bike, have plenty of adjustment, and I can actually walk around in them with cleats in. Not just hobble about, but walk around normally, as if they're normal shoes. They're ideal for commuting, shopping, touring, and whatever else.
Because they're laced, I sometimes (rarely) misjudge the tightness, and have to stop to adjust them mid-ride. If you're racing, the dial-adjustment models might work better, but laces are better for general use, I think (and they just look like normal shoes).
Note that when they're brand new, they can be a little tight. It took an hour or so walking around the house for them to settle in, but they've been perfect ever since. I used Quoc's measuring advice (rather than the shoe size I thought I was), and I'm pleased I did.”
