“The color looked like a dark plum color online, but in person, it is an ugly grayish brown with plum-colored thread topstitching. My bag has an incomplete seam on one side, which customer service said was due to a "repair" the seamstress attempted. Customer service said I could send the bag back (at my expense) and it would be fixed, but I think it should have been fixed before being shipped to a customer.
Otherwise, it is a great bag, with several useful pockets, lovely hardware, and the striped ticking for the lining makes it easy to find items inside the bag. Subtracting one star each for the color and botched seam.”
